EDF, Entrepose, Fonciere Massena, Orco: French Equity Preview

The following is a list of companies whose shares may have unusual price changes in Paris. Stock symbols are in parentheses after company names and prices are from the last close.

France’s benchmark CAC 40 Index (CAC) fell less than 0.1 percent to 3,749.23, while the broader SBF 120 Index declined less than 0.1 percent to 2,818.44.

Electricite de France SA (EDF FP): Europe’s biggest power generator will retain its Italian investments after announcing the sale of a stake in a German utility, Chief Executive Officer Henri Proglio said on a conference call. Proglio declined to comment on whether the French utility is seeking to raise its stake in Edison SpA, Italy’s largest power producer. EDF shares climbed 0.6 percent to 31.81 euros.

Entrepose Contracting (ENTC FP): The oil and gas contractor said it signed an 83 million-euro agreement with Societe Nationale de Distribution des Petroles for the construction of an LPG storage center in Tunisia. The shares rose 3.5 percent 93 euros.

Fonciere Massena (SOCM FP): said it bought an office building in a Paris suburb for 46.5 million euros. The stock was unchanged at 11.80 euros.

Orco Property Group (ORC) : The property company set new terms and conditions for its 2012 bonds. The shares fell 2.4 percent to 7.25 euros.

Orgasynth SA (ORG FP): The maker of perfumes said it bought Sao Paulo-based Bio Inter to expand in Brazil. The stock advanced 1.5 percent to 12.80 euros.

Poncin Yachts (PONY) : The sailboat builder said it raised 6.9 million euros in a capital increase. The shares declined 9.6 percent to 1.79 euros.
