BT May Bid for Government Funding to Roll Out Rural Broadband, U.K. Says

BT Group Plc, the U.K.’s biggest fixed-line phone company, signalled it will bid for government funding to roll out fast-Internet access in rural areas, Culture Minister Jeremy Hunt said in London today.
