Auburn, Oregon to Play for College Football Title; TCU Heads to Rose Bowl
Auburn University and the University of Oregon will meet in college football’s championship game after finishing atop the Bowl Championship Series standings.
Auburn (13-0) will face Oregon (12-0) in the BCS title game on Jan. 10 in Glendale, Arizona.
Texas Christian University (12-0) finished third in the BCS rankings and will play the University of Wisconsin (11-1) in the Rose Bowl on Jan. 1. Also on New Year’s Day, the University of Oklahoma (10-2) meets the University of Connecticut (8-4) in the Fiesta Bowl.
In other BCS games, Stanford University (11-1) and Virginia Tech (11-2) play in the Orange Bowl on Jan. 3, while Ohio State (11-1) faces the University of Arkansas (10-2) in the Sugar Bowl on Jan. 4.
