Aeroflot Advances to 2-Year High After Profit Rises

OAO Aeroflot climbed to its highest in more than two years after Russia’s largest airline said it boosted net income 65 percent to $281 million in the first nine months as passenger numbers increased.

The stock rose 1.9 percent to 83.94 rubles, its strongest level since June 2008 by the 6:45 p.m. close in Moscow.

Revenue gained 28 percent to $3.16 billion, the Russian carrier said today in an e-mailed statement.
