World Cup Champion Lindsey Vonn Wins First Super-G Event of the Season
World Cup overall skiing champion Lindsey Vonn won the season’s first Super-G event today at Lake Louise, Canada.
The American posted a time of 1 minute, 20.72 seconds. Maria Riesch of Germany clocked 1:21.55 and Julia Mancuso of the U.S. was third in 1:21:61, the FIS ruling body said on its website.
