Vestas Chief Says Wind-Energy Prospects Uncertain, FT Reports

Ditlev Engel, the chief executive officer of Vestas Wind Systems A/S, said the European wind- energy business lacks momentum and the outlook remains isn’t bright, the Financial Times reported.

That assessment by the head of the world’s biggest wind- turbine maker will be a blow to governments such as Britain’s, which hope to develop industries employing tens of thousands of people around renewable-energy technologies, the newspaper said.
