U.K. Tories Spent Twice as Much as Labour on Election, FT Says
The U.K.’s Conservative Party spent twice as much as the Labour Party during the country’s general election in May, the Financial Times reported, citing figures released by the U.K. Electoral Commission.
The Conservatives spent 16.7 million pounds ($26 million) while Labour spent 8 million pounds, the newspaper said.
