Spain Shelves Power Bond Sale Until Next Year, Economista Says

Spain will delay plans to sell bonds backed by revenue from consumer electricity bills to fund the so-called tariff deficit because of market volatility, El Economista reported, citing unidentified people in financial markets.

The sale will be delayed until next year when volatility has disappeared, the newspaper said, citing unidentified people at Spain’s Industry Ministry.
