Skoda Auto Unions Demand Higher Wages, Hospodarske Reports
Workers’ representatives at Skoda Auto AS, the Czech unit of Volkswagen AG, want a pay raise of about 40 percent by 2018 to match the wages at the company’s Portugese unit, Hospodarske Noviny reported, citing union chairman Jaroslav Povsik.
Without the wage increase the unions won’t support Volkswagen’s plan to double Skoda production, the newspaper said, citing Povsik.
