Minmetals May Join Antofagasta’s Reko Diq Project, Tercera Says

China Minmetals Corp. has been invited to become a partner in Antofagasta Plc and Barrick Gold Corp.’s Reko Diq copper and gold mining project in Pakistan, La Tercera reported.

Minmetals is interested and is studying the project, the Santiago-based newspaper cited Minmetals President Zhou Zhongshu as saying.
