Geely, Volvo Differ Over Expansion Plans, FT Says

Volvo Car Corp. managers in Sweden and owner Zhejiang Geely Holding Group Co. differ over how to expand the business in China, the Financial Times reported, citing several unidentified people close to the discussions.

Geely wants to build as many as three car plants in China, while Swedish managers want to ensure there is a “solid business base” there before expanding, the FT said.
