Benelux Stocks: Exact, Gamma, Pharming and Colruyt Shares Move

Dec. 3 (Bloomberg) --The Netherlands’ AEX-Index gained 0.74, or 0.2 percent, to 342.19 at the 5:30 p.m. close in Amsterdam, bringing the week’s gain to 1.8 percent. Belgium’s Bel20 Index fell 0.1 percent to 2,614.99.

The following were among the most active stocks in Benelux markets today. Symbols are in parentheses.

Dutch stocks:

Exact Holding NV (EXACT NA) gained 1.4 percent to 21.50 euros, the highest price in more than two years. The Dutch business-software supplier will focus on organic growth instead of making acquisitions, Het Financieele Dagblad reported, citing an interview with Chief Executive Officer Martijn Janmaat.

Gamma Holding NV (GAMMA NA) rose 5.8 percent to 28.35 euros, the highest price since July, 2008, after the world’s second-biggest maker of conveyor belts announced talks with Dutch private equity firm Gilde Buy Out Partners BV on a possible offer of 29 euros per share, equal to about 218 million euros ($291.4 million), Bloomberg calculations show.

Pharming Group NV (PHARM NA) soared 7 percent to 22.8 euro cents, the biggest gain in seven weeks. The drug developer that uses the milk of genetically modified rabbits will receive a 16.1 million-euro investment from Socius Capital Group LLC.

Belgian stocks:

Colruyt NV (COLR BB) gained 1.8 percent to 39.43 euros, rising for a fourth consecutive day. Belgium’s biggest discount food retailer had its share-price estimate raised to 38.30 euros from 37.60 euros at ING Groep NV.
