Venezuela Accepts Terms of $700 Million IDB Loan, Nacional Says

The finance committee of Venezuela’s National Assembly yesterday approved the terms of a $700 million loan from the Inter-American Development Bank for repairs to the country’s Guri dam, El Nacional reported.

The dam feeds hydroelectric plants that produce more than two-thirds of the country’s power.
