Pemex in Talks to Buy Refining Capacity in U.S., Reforma Says

Petroleos Mexicanos is in talks with Valero Energy Corp. and five other companies as it seeks to buy refining capacity in the U.S., Reforma reported, citing Chief Executive Officer Juan Jose Suarez Coppel.

Pemex is also considering creating a venture to form alliances with private companies through performance-based production contracts for mature oil fields, Reforma said, citing the executive.
