Lehman Brokerage Trustee, Law Firm Seek $22.8 Million in Fees
The trustee of Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc.’s defunct brokerage and his law firm are seeking fees of $22.8 million for work done from Feb. 1 to May 31, according to a court filing today.
James Giddens and his law firm, Hughes Hubbard & Reed LLP, said they worked 49,743 hours, including 526 hours of Giddens’s time, liquidating the remains of the brokerage. They are also asking a judge to approve $403,978 in expenses.
