Hong Kong Court Sentences Former Moulin Chief to 12 Years, Newspaper Says

Ma Bo-kee, the former chairman of Moulin Global Eyecare Holdings Ltd., was sentenced to 12 years in prison for fraud yesterday, one of the longest sentences ever given for commercial crime in Hong Kong, the South China Morning Post reported, citing court procedings.

Ma’s son Cary was sentenced to 10 years and his sister-in- law Michelle Lam was given a 9 1/2 year term, the Hong Kong- based English-language newspaper said today. Three other defendants received between four months and two years, it said.
