Heineken Doesn’t Plan ‘Big Merger,’ CEO Tells Trends-Tendances

Heineken NV, the world’s third- largest brewer, doesn’t have any intention of a “big merger” and wants to stay an independent group, Chief Executive Officer Jean-Francois van Boxmeer told Trends-Tendances magazine.

The brewer wants to continue growing in the premium segment, in which it ranks first globally, Van Boxmeer said in an interview with the Belgian business weekly.
