Dow Chemical to Revive $1 Billion Brazil Project, Valor Reports

Dow Chemical Co. plans to revive a $1 billion project to produce plastic resins from sugar cane-based ethanol in Brazil, Valor Economico reported, citing Chief Executive Officer Andrew Liveris.

Dow is looking for partners to restart the project, the Sao Paulo-based newspaper said, citing Liveris. The company is also studying the production of the alternative fuel in Brazil, Valor said.
