Crude Oil Reverses Decline in New York, Increases 0.5% to $87.18 a Barrel

New York crude oil rose, reversing an earlier decline of as much as 0.6 percent.

Crude oil futures for January delivery increased 43 cents, or 0.5 percent, to $87.18 a barrel at 10:07 a.m. on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Oil earlier fell as low as $86.27 a barrel.
