Canon to Build $357 Million Plant to Make Printer Cartridges, Nikkei Says

Canon Inc. will spend 30 billion yen ($357 million) to build a plant in Oita prefecture, southern Japan, the Nikkei newspaper reported, without saying where it obtained the information. The Tokyo-based company will make printer-cartridge parts at the plant starting in May 2012, the report said.
