Canadian Bankruptcies Rose Almost 10 Percent in September From August

Canadian bankruptcies rose 9.6 percent in September from the previous month to 8,116, the country’s bankruptcy superintendent reported on its website.

From a year ago, the number of bankruptcies fell 37 percent.
