30-Year Fixed Rate Rises to 4.46% From 4.40%, Freddie Mac Says

The average rate on a 30-year home loan rose to 4.46 percent for the week ending today, from 4.40 percent a week earlier, Freddie Mac, the McLean, Virginia-based mortgage buyer, said today in an e-mailed statement. The 15-year rate was 3.81 percent.
