FAA Raises Mexico’s Air-Safety Rating, Reversing Downgrade

The U.S. Federal Aviation Administration said today it upgraded Mexico’s air safety rating, after lowering it in July because of a shortage of flight inspectors.
The FAA announced the upgrade, based on the results of a November audit, in an e-mailed statement.
