Atria Centralizes Russian Meat Production in St. Petersburg, Cuts 300 Jobs

Atria Oyj will centralize its Russian meat production operations in St. Petersburg from Moscow and Sinyavino and plans to cut 300 jobs.

Atria expects annual cost savings of 6 million euros from the cuts and will book a one-time cost of 1.5 million euros, mostly in 2011, the company said in a statement today.
