Cathay Pacific’s Tyler May Be Next IATA Chief, Morning Post Says

Cathay Pacific Airways Ltd. Chief Executive Officer Tony Tyler may become the next director- general and CEO of the International Air Transport Association, the industry’s global lobbying group, the South China Morning Post said, citing an e-mail exchange with Tyler.

Tyler is competing for the job against Samer Majali, chief executive officer of Gulf Air, the Hong Kong-based English- language newspaper reported today, citing unidentified “insiders.”
