Blackberry Posts Loss as Revenue Misses Estimates
E.ON, Pfeiffer Vacuum, VIB Vermoegen: German Equity Preview
The following is a list of companies whose shares may have unusual price changes in Germany. Stock symbols are in parentheses and share prices are from the previous close.
DAX Index futures expiring in December climbed 1 percent to 6,772 as of 8:27 a.m. in Frankfurt. The benchmark DAX Index gained 0.6 percent to 6,700.07 yesterday.
E.ON AG (EOAN GY): The company is considering selling a stake of as much as 49 percent in its E.ON Ruhrgas natural-gas unit, Dow Jones reported yesterday, citing unidentified people familiar with the matter.
The shares rose 0.4 percent to 22.54 euros.
Pfeiffer Vacuum Technology AG (PFV GY): The company’s new shares are being sold at a guide price of between 82 euros and 82.50 euros each, according to a person familiar with the offer.
Pfeiffer Vacuum yesterday said it’s seeking to raise capital by selling new shares equivalent to 10 percent of its market value. Commerzbank AG is managing the sale. The books for the sale will close at 8:30 a.m. in Frankfurt.
The shares lost 2.2 percent to 83.62 euros.
VIB Vermoegen AG (VIH GY): The real estate company reported nine-month net income of 12.2 million euros and confirmed its full-year forecast. The shares were little changed at 8.10 euros.
Wirecard AG (WDI GY): The vendor of online payment software raised the lower end of its Ebitda forecast range after third- quarter earnings before interest and taxes rose to 17.7 million euros from 15.1 million euros. The shares lost 1.5 percent to 10.22 euros.
