Hollywood Publicist Murdered in Car After Premiere, NY Post Says

Hollywood publicist Ronni Chasen, 64, was shot dead as she drove home after attending the premier of singer/actress Cher’s new movie “Burlesque,” the New York Post reported, citing police.

Chasen, who worked on titles such as “Driving Miss Daisy,” “On Golden Pond,” and “Robin Hood - Prince of Thieves,” was found badly injured by multiple bullet wounds at the wheel of her Mercedes near Sunset Boulevard, and died later in hospital, the newspaper said.
