Credit Suisse Investment Bank Chairman Paul Calello Has Died

Nov. 16 (Bloomberg) --Paul Calello, the chairman of the investment banking business at Credit Suisse Group AG, has died, the firm said today in a statement.
Calello, 49, had been battling cancer.
“Paul Calello was an outstanding leader, and a down-to- earth, very human colleague who forged strong relationships and made a positive difference in the world around him,’’Brady Dougan, the chief executive officer of the Swiss bank, said in the statement. “We will miss him greatly, but his spirit and accomplishments will remain a part of Credit Suisse. Our thoughts are with his family today.”
