BAE May Win $11.5 Billion India Typhoon Military Jet Order, Telegraph Says

The Typhoon combat aircraft, already in service with the U.K. and German air forces, is in the running for an $11.5 billion contract from the Indian Air Force, the Sunday Telegraph said, citing an unidentified Indian official.

The aircraft, manufactured by a group of companies including BAE Systems Plc, came top in the Indian Air Force’s technical assessment for the deal, beating rivals from the U.S., Russia and France, according to the report.
