French Stocks Decline: Keyyo, Outremer Telecom, Societe Generale Move

France’s CAC 40 Index declined 22.78, or 0.6 percent, to 3,842.94 at the 5:30 p.m. close in Paris. The SBF 120 Index retreated 0.5 percent to 2,869.33.

The following stocks rose or fell in the French equity market. Company symbols are in parentheses.

Keyyo SA (ALKEY FP) gained 2.7 percent to 5.38 euros. The provider of long-distance communications said third-quarter sales rose 7.5 percent to 5.08 million euros ($7.12 million).

Outremer Telecom (OMT FP) rallied 10 percent to 8.6 euros as the provider of fixed-line, mobile and Internet services said its second-half “financial performance” may exceed that of the first half. Outremer reported a 12 percent increase in third- quarter sales to 47.9 million euros.

Societe Generale SA (GLE FP) gained 1.9 percent to 42.91 euros. France’s second-largest bank said third-quarter profit more than doubled to 896 million euros from 426 million euros after it set aside less money for bad loans.
