European Stocks Advance; BG Group, Danske Bank, Hermes International Climb

European stocks advanced, as gains by Danske Bank A/S and Hermes International outweighed declines by Bwin Interactive Entertainment AG and Serco Group Plc.

The benchmark Stoxx Europe 600 Index increased 0.4 percent to 267.53 at 11:35 a.m. in London, after earlier swinging between gains and losses at least nine times.
