The U.K.’s Isle of Grain liquefied natural gas terminal has an import slot available on Nov. 5.
The berth won’t be filled by capacity holders and has been released to third parties, National Grid Plc said today on its website.
The Isle of Grain, east of London, can import 9.8 million metric tons of LNG a year. BP Plc, Algeria’s Sonatrach, Centrica Plc and GDF Suez SA have capacity at the port. LNG is gas that’s cooled to a liquid to ease transportation and storage.
