Ronaldo Scores Four Goals as Real Madrid Routs Racing Santander 6-1

Cristiano Ronaldo scored four goals as Real Madrid routed Racing Santander for its second straight 6-1 home victory in Spanish soccer’s Primera Liga.

Gonzalo Higuain and Mesut Ozil also scored at the Bernabeu stadium as Real remained unbeaten under first-year manager Jose Mourinho. Real has six wins and two draws to top the standings with 20 points.

Real has outscored its opponents 16-2 in four home games this season, including a 6-1 win over Deportivo La Coruna on Oct. 10.

Barcelona beat Real Zaragoza 2-1 as Lionel Messi scored both goals. Defending league champion Barca trails Madrid by one point.
