Clement Says Canada Still Gathering Information on BHP Bid

Canadian Industry Minister Tony Clement said today he is still gathering information on BHP Billiton Ltd.’s $40 billion bid for Potash Corp. of Saskatchewan Inc.

Clement, who was speaking to reporters in Toronto, also said he’s “working hard” to meet the Nov. 3 deadline for the Investment Canada Act review.
