China Will Spend `Hundreds of Billions' Repairing Reservoirs, Xinhua Says

China will invest “hundreds of billions of yuan” to repair dilapidated small- and medium-sized reservoirs over the next five years, Xinhua News Agency said, citing Du Ying, deputy director of the National Development annd Reform Commission, the nation’s top planning body.
