Aviva Plans Rental Property Fund, Talks to Builders, FT Says

Aviva Plc is in talks with homebuilders including Telford Homes Plc to construct rental homes in the southern part of the U.K. as part of a $1.6 billion investment, the Financial Times reported, without saying where it got the information.

The London-based insurer wants to create an investment fund to buy and rent residential property in partnership with CB Richard Ellis Group Inc., the newspaper reported.
