General Atlantic Held Talks With Dentsu Over Sale of AKQA, WSJ Reports

General Atlantic LLC has held talks with Dentsu Inc. and other companies over a possible sale of General Atlantic’s AKQA, a U.S. digital-ad agency, the Wall Street Journal reported, citing unidentified people.

Dentsu expressed interest in AKQA and put its value at about $500 million, while General Atlantic seeks at least $600 million, according to the report. General Atlantic hired Morgan Stanley for advice on a potential sale of the unit after receiving an unsolicited offer, the WSJ said.
