France Advances to Davis Cup Tennis Final; Czech Republic Leads Serbia 2-1

France defeated Argentina in doubles to advance to the final of tennis’s Davis Cup for the first time since 2002.
Arnaud Clement and Michael Llodra won 6-4, 7-5, 6-3 over Eduardo Schwank and Horacio Zeballos to give France an unbeatable 3-0 lead in the best-of-five semifinal in Lyon.
France will face the Czech Republic or Serbia in the final in December.
The Czech Republic took a 2-1 lead in its semifinal after Tomas Berdych and Radek Stepanek beat U.S. Open runner-up Novak Djokovic and Nenad Zimonjic 3-6, 6-1, 6-4, 6-1 in Belgrade.
Both semifinals conclude tomorrow with two reverse singles matches.
