Ozawa May Decline Kan's Offer for President Post in DPJ, Nikkei Reports

Japanese Prime Minister Naoto Kan has asked Ichiro Ozawa, whom he defeated in a leadership challenge this week, to serve as one of the acting presidents of the ruling party, Nikkei English News said.

Ozawa is likely to decline the offer, the report said, citing an unidentified person familiar with the matter.
