Baird Says Canada to Bring In Economic Measures, Rules Out More Stimulus
Canada’s Conservative government will introduce three new measures in coming weeks to bolster the country’s economy, House Leader John Baird said today, without elaborating.
Speaking to reporters in Ottawa, Baird said the government traditionally puts out a second budget bill in the fall. Baird ruled out a second stimulus package, citing the need to balance the budget.
