India Plans HMT Supply Accord with Aircraft Builder, Business Line Reports

India is working on a supply accord for tractor and watchmaker HMT Ltd., the Hindu Business Line newspaper said, citing B.S. Meena, secretary in the ministry of heavy industries. The plan would involve HMT manufacturing some components for Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd., which recently won orders to make aircraft, the report said.
