New Dawn Plans to Increase Gold Production in Zimbabwe, Business Day Says

New Dawn Mining Corp. wants to produce as much as 250,000 ounces of gold from its mines in Zimbabwe, Business Day reported, citing Chief Executive Officer Ian Saunders.

New Dawn will in a month complete a review of the assets it acquired in a hostile bid from Central African Gold Plc in June, the Johannesburg-based newspaper said. The company may combine the two group’s assets and list them on Zimbabwe’s stock exchange, Business Day quoted Saunders as saying.
