JA Solar to Borrow $4.4 Billion from State-Owned China Development Bank

JA Solar Holdings Co., the Chinese solar cell and module maker, agreed to borrow as much as 30 billion yuan ($4.4 billion) from government-owned China Development Bank for “long-term growth and corporate development plans,” according to a statement today from the manufacturer.
