South Africa's Murder Rate Fell to 34.1 per 100,000 in Year Through March

South Africa’s murder rate fell to 34.1 per 100,000 people in the year through March, the South African Police Service said in a statement released in Pretoria today.

The rate dropped from 37.3 in the previous 12 months. The decline was the third-biggest since 1995, the statement said.
