TNK-BP Holding Says Net Income Climbed 20% to $2.74 Billion in First Half
OAO TNK-BP Holding, the traded unit of BP Plc’s Russian oil venture with a group of billionaires, said profit rose 20 percent in the first half.
Net income increased to $2.74 billion from $2.28 billion a year earlier, the Moscow-based company said on its website. Sales rose 49 percent to $19.1 billion.
TNK-BP International Ltd., the 50-50 venture, reported second-quarter earnings in July.
