Polish Treasury Minister Rules Out Lotos Bid by PKN Orlen, Parkiet Reports

Polish Treasury Minister Aleksander Grad ruled out any participation by PKN Orlen SA in bidding for Grupa Lotos SA, Parkiet reported.

Grad also denied that the ministry has considered the possibility of Polskie Gornictwo Naftowe i Gazownictwo bidding for Lotos, the newspaper said.

Orlen is Poland’s largest oil refiner, Lotos the second- largest and Polskie Gornictwo Naftowe i Gazownictwo SA is the country’s gas monopoly.
