China Vice Premier Urges Summers to Oppose Trade, Investment Protectionism

Chinese Vice Premier Wang Qishan urged the U.S. to oppose trade and investment protectionism during a meeting with U.S. officials Lawrence Summers and Tom Donilon yesterday, according to a statement posted on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ website today.

Wang Qishan also called for cooperation with the U.S. over economy, trade, investment, finance, alternative energy and infrastructure construction, according to the statement.
