World Corn, Wheat Reserves to Drop, Soybeans May Rise, According to Survey
World inventories of corn before the 2011 harvest probably will fall to the lowest level since 2008, and wheat reserves may slip to a two-year low, according to a survey of as many as 13 analysts by Bloomberg News. While the U.S. Department of Agriculture probably will cut its estimate for global soybean stockpiles, the total will still be higher than a year earlier, according to the survey. The USDA is scheduled to release its estimates for the 2010-2011 season on Sept. 10 at 8:30 a.m. in Washington.
