UN-EU 2012 Emissions Spread Narrows to Smallest in More Than Three Months

The premium for European Union carbon permits over 2012 United Nations credits narrowed to its lowest level since June 22.

The spread between EU allowances and Certified Emission Reduction credits for 2012 shrank 14 percent to 3.01 euros a metric ton today as UN regulators increase scrutiny on projects intended to reduce HFC-23.
