Russian Benchmark Stocks Rise Fourth Day on RTS as Sberbank, Gazprom Gain

Russia’s RTS Index of 50 stocks advanced for a fourth day at the start of trading in Moscow, led by state-run lender OAO Sberbank and natural-gas monopoly OAO Gazprom.

The RTS gained 0.5 percent at 10:05 a.m. in Moscow to 1474.68, the highest since Aug. 10.
